چکیده
This paper describes our system for SemEval2015 Task 13: Multilingual All-Words Sense Disambiguation and Entity Linking. We have participated with our system in the sub-task which aims at monolingual all-words disambiguation and entity linking. Aside from system description, we pay closer attention to the evaluation of system outputs.

REINA at CLEF 2009 Robust-WSD Task: Partial Use of WSD Information for Retrieval
This paper describes the participation of the REINA research group at CLEF 2009 Robust-WSD Task. We have participated in both monolingual and bilingual subtasks. In past editions of the robust task our research group obtained very good results for non-WSD experiments applying local query expansion using co-occurrence based thesauri constructed using windows of terms. We applied it again. For WS...
متن کاملCLEF 2009 Ad Hoc Track Overview: Robust - WSD Task
The Robust-WSD at CLEF 2009 aims at exploring the contribution of Word Sense Disambiguation to monolingual and multilingual Information Retrieval. The organizers of the task provide documents and topics which have been automatically tagged with Word Senses from WordNet using several state-of-the-art Word Sense Disambiguation systems. The Robust-WSD exercise follows the same design as in 2008. I...
متن کاملSENSEVAL: The evaluation of word sense disambiguation systems
Word sense disambiguation (WSD) is the problem of deciding which sense a word has in any given context. The problem of doing WSD by computer is not new; it goes back to the early days of machine translation. But like other areas of computational linguistics, research into WSD has seen a resurgence because of the availability of large corpora. Statistical methods for WSD, especially techniques i...
متن کاملSense-Based Biomedical Indexing and Retrieval
This paper tackles the problem of term ambiguity, especially for biomedical literature. We propose and evaluate two methods of Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) for biomedical terms and integrate them to a sense-based document indexing and retrieval framework. Ambiguous biomedical terms in documents and queries are disambiguated using the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) thesaurus and semantically...
متن کاملDisambiguation of Biomedical Abbreviations
Abbreviations are common in biomedical documents and many are ambiguous in the sense that they have several potential expansions. Identifying the correct expansion is necessary for language understanding and important for applications such as document retrieval. Identifying the correct expansion can be viewed as a Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) problem. A WSD system that uses a variety of know...
